Getting crafty

I'm trying my hand at making old fashioned Victorian "Scrap" Valentines. I cut out the scrap before I got married for a picture I was working on. It was A LOT of work - but I had time on my hands then! It was going pretty well until we were all stricken with a stomach flu (not recommended!).

So far this is my favorite

I wanted to see if I could get a "sugared" effect but I think the glitter is taking away from the detail of the picture.

p.s. How do you like my tablecloth? Ebay - it had never been out of the package!

  1. Beautiful valentines! I especially like the purple one on the left in your first picture, though they are all lovely. I don't think the glitter is distracting.

    Your ebay find is wonderful!

  2. I LOVE the two bottom ones! Honestly I wouldn't change a thing- they look wonderful as is. All of them are lovely!

I can never find anything good on Ebay, so I am seriously envious. You can't go wrong with lace table cloths. :)

  3. Thanks girls! My husband turned me on to Ebay when I wanted to get a vintage aluminum canister set for the kitchen (I couldn't find a complete set at the local stores). I've gotten a lot, I'm sure he wishes he didn't recommend it!
